Glasgow Based, community drinks company Bottle of Ginger have been granted business
development support worth £2700 from Community Enterprise in Scotland (CEIS). This award
will help solidify the business as they look towards launching in-house production of a zero
waste, circular model Ginger Beer in mid-2018.

The product is set to challenge the sugar laden soft drinks of today by using locally sourced
ingredients which are organic and naturally fermented. Natalia Jejer, founder and managing
director of the women-led enterprise says: “This is an exciting time for Bottle of Ginger and we
look forward to working with industry expert Roy Crosby to revolutionise Glasgow’s drinks
market. Our zero waste, circular model is a nostalgic call-back to deposit return schemes of
the past and is central to the ethos of our company.”
