Carrick Carnival of Light 2017

Each year, the Carrick Rural Arts Group (CRAG), a non-profit community arts group, organises the Carrick Carnival of Light community event in Girvan, Ayrshire which encourages young and old to come together to create willow art in the form of lanterns. The event intends to increase and enhance existing provision, access to and participation in the arts.
Pricoss were asked to generate traditional press coverage and contribute to Carrick Carnival of Light’s social media pages to increase awareness of the event, all within a tight lead time.
Outcomes
Thanks to Pricoss’ press push, Carrick Carnival of Light 2017 was featured in the Daily Record, Ayrshire Post, Carrick Gazette, and Carrick Herald.
Pricoss also undertook some social media management and content creation for the event which saw a huge increase in Facebook post reach and engagement.
